Darling – Only 10 more days of basic training left at most. I don’t believe I told you about my guard duty. I was called out at 2 and worked till 5. I walked one block and “guarded” 2 hotels. Boy what a tiresome job. It wears out your shoe leather when you have to do it in a military manner. That is with a rifle and constantly moving. Boy is it hard to get up. Oh well I guess we get a taste of everything. Another thing I forgot to tell you. My mom write me and asked me to look up John New. He is Patty New’s
